Introducing the new and improved FLOW SKOOL workshop series by JESSICA CO. of Alchemy of Arts. Learn the art of the art of fire flow, tech & safety in the amazing 2hr workshop jam packed with the goods to up-skill your flow style & technique. Featured Prop: BYO Fire Props Date: 3rd March 2023 Time: arrive 5:45pm to start at 6pm sharp Location: Alchemy Workshop, 27 Merivale street, North Lambton 2299. Investment: $75.00 This is open to all skill levels your mentor Jess will be teaching her own unique style and tech in this 2hr hour workshop. You will learn: - Fire flow tech and safety. - Warm up and cool down techniques specifically designed for your flow prop. - How to create your own flow style, professioanl feedback & character development. - Basic choreography skills and techniques. The Space: We will be my an amazing home studio Alchemy Workshop space, North Lambton. What to bring: Water Towel Your prop (or ask to borrow one) What to wear: Fire safe (natural fibre/cotton/wool) Comfortable loose fitting or stretchy clothes. Nothing too “dangly” as the prop can get entangled. Extra bonus! Break snacks & tea! Jess has been a flow artists for 18 years and has been working professionally within the flow arts & entertainment sector for 14 years, pioneering her own unique flow art style. Jess is also a professional Yoga teacher and attained her yoga teacher training in the Himalayan mountains in 2018. Jess has worked in production and produced shows released both for fringe festival and independently, she regularly co-ordinates large groups of performers for private functions and large public events such as HIGHER GROUND, THIS-THAT, FOTSUN, City Council events and much more. Jess also runs a performance art/creative talent agency in Newcastle est 2020 that you could be apart of too!
